With leading specialists in surgery, oncology and internal medicine, ARH can help your pet when they need it most.

Our new building at 532 Seventeen Mile Rocks Road, Sinnamon Park was designed with you and your pet in mind. The specialist service and emergency hospital are a fully integrated business. We share the same team members, computer systems and equipment ensuring your pet’s treatment is as seamless and stress free as possible. This allows us to be flexible on pet pick up and drop off times and visiting hours, while ensuring transfer of your pet either within the hospital or back to your referring veterinarian is an easy process.

With Queensland’s only veterinary high-field MRI, 16-slice helical CT and a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical equipment we ensure the best treatment options are available for your animal. We also have:

  • Separate dog and cat waiting areas, wards and treatment areas
  • A dedicated chemotherapy room and oncology ward
  • A dedicated Intensive Care Unit
  • Three fully equipped dedicated surgical theatres
  • Comprehensively stocked onsite pharmacy

Our specialists have undertaken years of advanced training in veterinary medicine. After graduating as veterinarians they have completed internship and residency programs during which they were trained in advanced procedural skills and were able to refine their approach to diagnostic investigations and therapeutic plans. After years of post-graduate training they then passed rigorous examinations that subsequently allowed them to be registered in Australia as a specialist in their field.

You will need a referral from your local veterinarian to see a specialist. Our specialists will meet with you, review your pet and conduct any additional necessary diagnostic tests. They will then provide a complete range of options for treatment, including prognosis and an estimation of costs. Throughout your pet’s treatment we will keep you updated and encourage you to call or visit at any stage.
